Okay so reading the comments, apparently I'm not going crazy with Shirogane's voice. Hope Aaron recovers, but I'm cool with Bakugo/Cabba being Shirogane for a while.

The more I hear Austin's Ishigami, the more it slowly becomes one of my favorite roles of his.

Soo Clifford Chapin the Bakugo VA is the new Miyuki VA for the time being huh, until the old VA Aaron Dismuke recovers soon from his vocal injury i see. I was like wait what Miyuki has a new voice change they say in Season 3 🤔

because aaron dismuke is on vocal rest but yeah kinda hard for me to adjust to Clifford Chapin since I love Aaron Dismuke as miyuki. still I think Chapin is doing really well it´s just that it´s not the same I hope Aaron gets better soon so we can hear him again

Fun Fact! For people wondering Aaron Dismuke (Shirogane's VA) has been on vocal leave so Clifford Chapin (VA of characters like Connie from Attack on Titan and Bokugou from My Hero Academia) is stepping up. It's NOT permanent and I like Clifford's performance and his resume. I just know how some people get when a VA changes mid show.

I watched this episode twice already, I can't tell the difference, I was too busy laughing.

I'm not going to pretend that I know everything about these studios, but I believe this wasn't greedy. If you have seen any games release too early with bugs and issues and all that, you might have asked yourself "Why make an unfinished game". The answer is: investors.

When your company makes a deal with an investor, you are given money, and in return you have to finish a product within a certain time period, and give the investor a portion of the profit. If you are late, the investors will demand their money back either in small amounts or completely at once to avoid scams. The fact that the VA for Shirogane is on voice leave put the company in a dead end, since they either anger the fanbase with a different voice actor, or anger the investors and lose all money as well as the option to even make a different season.

I am not a professional so take my word with a grain of salt, but I belive the VA does his job well and this is the best thing they could've done.

How do you know that they had no deadline? I'm not trying to appear like a smartass, as smartassy as this sounds, but if you are going to blame the people who own the rights to the show, I want to see a believable reason as to why. I don't like Funimation and some of it's business practices, but I will refuse to ever live by the guilty until proven innocent thought process.

Well, let's ask Japan, who is notorious for following that rule like it's the bible with their horrifying 99% incarceration rate, of which, obviously, a lot end up being false accusations/confessions. If there is anything to learn from what had been happening on the internet, as well as real life(Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard), although it is how the world works, it's wrong to endorse that kind of mindset.

While I absolutely prefer love is war dubbed version, I can't imagine watching aot in dubs, and mainly because that papentrash makes eren annoying af and cringy character.

Is there a comedy anime comparable to this

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun. Hands down the funniest show I've watched. I had to pause each episode multiple times because I was laughing so hard I couldn't see. (Watch the dub. The voice acting s perfection.)

The only downside is how short it is.

I recently watched Spy x Family, and tho I must clarify it doesn't beat the comedy in Love is War, it also has very good humour.
